Our 4th of July started out nice and early with the Murray parade. We aren't much of parade goers but our kids had NEVER been so we thought we would take them to a parade and show em what its all about. The girls got tons of candy and Sadies favorite part was the "princess girls" from all the town royaltys that went by.
The best part about the whole parade was the guy standing in almost all of our pictures holding a flag... The guy didn't sit down once and mind you the parade was 2 HOURS LONG!! He seriously stood there the whole time holding up the flag! His arms had to have been dang tired. We thought it was classic!
After the parade we headed out for some brunch. Then we went to my brothers house and let the kids play on a blowup water slide jumpy thing until it was time to head up to the good ole Oakley Rodeo. The girls loved it and hung in there till all the fireworks were over. Amberly was so tired but she wasn't about to miss all the action! We had a great time!
