I love Easter time mostly because it means Spring and flowers blooming and if we are lucky nice warmer weather. But this year was so much fun with the girls and all their plans and excitement for the Easter Bunny. I love my Sadie and her creative, imaginary mind. She is so paticular in everything she does and she really thinks everything through. In the days leading up to Easter we did some craft projects with paper easter eggs like painting, coloring and glittering the egg pictures and then we decorated the house with them. Well Sadie had this idea that the Easter Bunny would follow the egg decor to her room so she strategically placed the eggs leading from the front door up the stairs to her room. Not forgetting of course to leave the Easter Bunny some lettace, carrots a letter telling him that she wants cotton candy and some money. (All her own doing). Thank goodness the Easter Bunny was all ready with cotton candy before the eve of easter! Sheesh! What a let down that would have been to a 5 year old.

The girls had a lot of fun at the neighborhood easter egg hunt. We had a great turn out and surprisingly Amberly knew what to do. She gathered quite a lot of eggs as did sadie and they loved every minute of it. On Easter Morning Sadie found a letter taped to her door that said "Go to Mom and Dad" and when she came down stairs she found an egg with another clue in it... so the girls followed the Easter Egg Treasure Hunt and found their baskets filled with goodies and new summer flip flops and crocs.

We had a wonderful Easter and are especially greatful for this time we have to reflect on and celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.
